Join The Knit Club, a welcoming workshop run by Craft Forward where knitters and crocheters of all abilities gather to create together. Whether you're picking up needles for the first time or have years of experience, you'll work on knitted squares that contribute to Blankets for London—a seasonal initiative delivering handmade blankets to unhoused individuals across the capital through partner charities.
All materials are supplied. Experienced knitters should bring their own needles, while beginners will receive guidance to start their craft. Crocheters are welcome to bring their favourite hook or borrow one on site. This is as much about building community with fellow makers as it is about creating something meaningful for those in need.
What to know: Photography will take place during the session—let the organisers know if you prefer not to be photographed. If you wish to contribute completed blankets separately, the standard size is 100x140cm (35 squares). Alternatively, you can post 20x20cm individual squares to the project organisers.
