Editorial guidelines

This page explains how our newsroom works and who is behind this publication.

Ownership and funding

This publication is published by AP Reklamebureau ApS (Danish company reg. no. 28488726), Vossevænget 3, 4300 Holbæk, Denmark. The company also publishes the Danish print titles Hallo Holbæk, Biltid.nu, Kommuneinfo Odsherred, and SeniorLiv.

We are funded by advertising. Adverts and sponsored content are always clearly labelled and kept separate from our editorial content. Advertisers have no influence on what we write.

Editor-in-chief

Our editor-in-chief is Anton B. Christensen, who holds final responsibility for all editorial content.

Sources and fact-checking

  • Our articles are based on sources we judge to be reliable, such as public authorities, the police, local councils, organisers and other media.
  • When a story builds on information from another publication, we credit and link to it.
  • Facts, names, dates and quotes are checked before publication.
  • We clearly separate facts, analysis and opinion.
  • We only use anonymous sources in exceptional cases, when the information matters to the public and cannot be obtained any other way. The editors always know the identity of the source.

Technology in the newsroom

We use digital tools, including artificial intelligence, for research and first drafts. Every article is read and approved by an editor before it is published, and the editors stand behind the content. We never use AI to invent quotes, people or events.

Bylines

Every article carries the name of its author. On the author's profile page you can see who they are and which subjects they cover.

Corrections

We take mistakes seriously. When we find a factual error, or someone points one out to us, we correct it as quickly as possible. Significant corrections are noted at the bottom of the article with the date and a short explanation. Minor spelling and grammar fixes are not noted.

If you have spotted an error, please email us at [email protected] with a link to the article.

Press ethics

We follow recognised principles of good press practice: accuracy, fairness and respect for the people we write about. If you believe we have fallen short, please write to the editor at [email protected].

Contact and feedback

We would love to hear from you, whether you have a tip, a comment or a complaint. Email us at [email protected] or use our contact page.
