An elegant evening of mandolin and guitar music spanning four centuries. London Mandolin Ensemble performs works ranging from the Baroque era through contemporary compositions, featuring pieces by Pachelbel, Calace, Foresi, Morelli, and modern British composers Simon Mayor and Andrew Boden.
Guest mandolinist Frances Taylor joins as soloist, performing a concerto by Nicola Conforto. The ensemble specialises in classical mandolin repertoire, bringing refinement and clarity to this often-overlooked instrument.
