The New Black Film Collective celebrates Black History Month with a special screening of the romantic comedy You, Me & Tuscany, directed by Kat Coiro. The film follows Anna, who impulsively travels to Tuscany and stays at a stranger's villa under false pretences—claiming to be the owner's fiancée. When caught by his mother, the deception spirals as Anna finds herself increasingly drawn to the man's charming cousin. Starring Halle Bailey, Regé-Jean Page and Lorenzo de Moor.
The evening begins with doors opening at 7:00pm, followed by the film at 7:05pm. After the screening concludes at 8:50pm, a panel discussion (participants to be confirmed) will explore the film further, running until 9:00pm. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis at The Lounge, The Type Building, Sugar House Island.
