Three of the UK's leading Black historians—Robin Walker, Tony Warner, and Andrew Muhammad—come together for an afternoon and evening of history, culture and conversation. Part of Auntie Jean's ACM's 12th-year Black History Month celebration, this event brings together three acclaimed educators and activists whose work spans African, Caribbean and Black British heritage.
Robin Walker is author of the acclaimed When We Ruled and over 15 other books exploring African and Black history. Tony Warner is a community historian and founder of Black History Walks in London, known for pioneering African diaspora programming at major UK institutions including the British Film Institute and National Portrait Gallery. Andrew Muhammad, "The Investigator," is renowned for his engaging presentations on Black history and culture, leading Hidden Truth Tours across the UK and internationally.
Expect lively discussion, expert insight, and the chance to engage directly with historians who have shaped how Black history is taught and celebrated in Britain. Bring friends and settle in for an extended session blending education with community spirit.
