Actor Eimutis Kvoščiauskas brings a deeply moving solo performance to London, sharing his family's true story rooted in Lithuania's post-war history. The production centers on his grandmother Ona Liutvinaitė-Kvoščiauskienė, who faced an impossible choice between fear and loyalty to her family and values during the partisan era.
This is more than one family's narrative – it is the story of an entire generation whose lives were transformed by war, occupation and the struggle for freedom. The work explores themes of love, sacrifice, resilience and the human spirit under the harshest circumstances. The original production premiered in the Karalgirio forest in June, where the real events it depicts once took place, and now travels to London for the first time.
An evening that leaves a profound impact – one that lingers long after the final moment.
