Experience an engaging evening of jazz standards and original compositions with the London-based Alex Bryson Trio. Pianist, singer-songwriter and bandleader Alex Bryson leads the ensemble alongside bassist Asaph Tal and drummer Joe Dessauer, delivering a programme rooted in the Great American Songbook, musical theatre, blues and country influences. Bryson's original songs reflect on love and romance with wit and emotional depth, performed by emerging musicians described by The Observer as having "a more impressive début than" most established jazz trios. The trio's swinging, varied repertoire promises an evening of songs, stories and exceptional musicianship.
The performance runs for 75 minutes in a single set. Dinner is available at the Duke of Hamilton upstairs before or after the show.
