Got Soul celebrates D'Angelo's revolutionary impact on modern music with this special tribute night. D'Angelo reshaped R&B and Soul, and his influence is central to Got Soul's identity. The event features music by and featuring D'Angelo, alongside tracks from his peers in the Soulquarians collective and works produced at Electric Lady Studios.
This is an intimate lounge experience rather than a club night, perfect for winding down and connecting with fellow fans. Expect neo-soul, rare groove, acid jazz and soulful hip-hop across the evening. You're invited to bring D'Angelo albums, merchandise or stories to share and celebrate his timeless legacy together.
Please note: Early arrival is essential. The DJ is Hey Essay. Two-stepping and singalongs are welcome and encouraged. The venue has one large step at the entrance.
