An evening of comedy, music and cultural commentary with content creator Sheyi Martins-Allen. The show combines sharp public rants on contemporary issues with live performance: millennial throwback covers reworked as emotional ballads and dance-floor anthems reimagined for intimate listening.
Sheyi is joined by Salma El-Wardany, broadcaster, author of These Impossible Things, and former BBC Radio London breakfast host, for a candid discussion of topics worth proper public outrage. Expect honesty, chaos and moments of recognition. The evening then shifts into music, featuring Nate James, the multi-award-winning British soul artist behind the defining UK soul record Set the Tone. A duet between Sheyi and Nate is promised, with more surprises possible.
