Join Ladies Who Lit for an enchanting evening celebrating books, community and seasonal mystery. The Witching Hour welcomes women and non-binary book lovers for a night of literary magic, featuring live circus performances by a Guinness World Record holder, atmospheric tarot readings, and an interactive murder mystery hunt through the venue. Hunt for hidden clues and QR codes revealing secrets of the sisterhood — solve the case for a chance to win a place on the 2027 Seville Reading Retreat.
The evening includes a spooky book swap where you can discover dark fantasies and fantasy fiction you never knew you needed, plus a best-dressed competition with prizes throughout the night. Immerse yourself in decadent food spreads, wine from Ark Wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options from Pentire Drinks. Everyone leaves with a limited edition LWL goodie bag featuring books from HarperVoyager, Titan Books, Flame Tree Press, Pan Macmillan and Tor Nightfire, plus chances to win annual book club membership and exclusive merchandise.
Dress to impress in gothic glamour meets dark enchantment for this sisterhood celebration at St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace.
