Join cartoonist and award-winning comic creator Neill Cameron at Conway Hall for an interactive event celebrating the launch of his new books, How to Make Awesome Comics and Donut Squad: Destiny of the Donuts, the third instalment in his hilarious Donut Squad series.
Neill will guide you through everything needed to create comics - from brainstorming ideas and developing characters to drawing techniques, with a special focus on his signature donut characters. The session includes a live draw-along, where attendees can bring their own paper and pencils to sketch original characters alongside Neill.
Cameron is known for the graphic novel series Mega Robo Bros and Donut Squad, the Freddy vs School illustrated novels, and contributions to The Phoenix children's comic. After the workshop, he will sign books, though queuing is expected. Signed copies will also be available for purchase on site.
Tickets are available at multiple price points, with options including pre-signed books and exclusive posters. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult (who also requires a ticket).
