Explore Walthamstow Wetlands on a guided tour led by experienced naturalists. Discover what makes this reserve unique locally and internationally, encounter the diverse wildlife it supports, learn the history of the Engine house, and find out how the reservoirs supply drinking water to Londoners.
The tour follows gentle paths around the reserve, lasting approximately 1.5 hours. Wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather, and bring water. Binoculars are optional but recommended for wildlife spotting. The entire experience is outdoors.
This tour welcomes adults aged 18+ and young people aged 11 and above (who must be accompanied by a responsible adult). Donations to London Wildlife Trust are welcome, with proceeds supporting nature recovery across the city.
