Join a festive community gathering to sing traditional Christmas carols beneath the illuminated Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square. This event recreates the warmth of a rural Christmas Eve, bringing people together to celebrate music, fellowship, and cherished seasonal traditions. Everyone is welcome to sing along, regardless of experience.
What you can do:
- Sing traditional carols from the provided list (rehearsals held throughout December)
- Perform a carol of your choice not already on the list
- Play along with an acoustic instrument
- Hold a flameless LED tealight candle
- Share small Christmas treats with fellow singers
Dress warmly in your favourite woolly jumper, hat, and mittens. This is also a charitable occasion—donations support Crisis, an organisation assisting people experiencing homelessness.
