Experience the premiere of four outstanding short films from the Yarns 2026 competition, celebrating fresh filmmaking talent and stories rooted in nostalgia. This showcase brings together four bold works: Norfolk Dumpling, Forgive Me Fubry, Cock-A-Doodle-Doo! and Passenger Seat, each produced with dedicated support from leading industry partners.
The evening is hosted by Craig Bingham and Ozzie Pullin of Now Then Talks and includes a filmmaker Q&A following the screenings, giving audiences direct insight into the creative process behind these works. Drinks will be served throughout.
Yarns is a non-profit, free-to-enter film competition run by Soho-based edit house Stitch, which has championed unsigned filmmakers for a decade. This year's four selected filmmakers—Joseph Osayande, Julia Mervis, Heath Virgoe and Aleah Scott—each received a £2000 budget and mentorship from industry leaders including Kodak, Arri Rental, Resister Music, The Kusp Hub, Sine Audio Post, Freefolk, 1920vfx, Coffee & TV, Bubble and Homespun. Ticket purchases directly support the continuation of this initiative.
