A monthly gathering for poetry lovers and writers at London's Kings Cross. Open mic slots, poem readings, peer feedback and collaborative writing activities combine to create a social, supportive space for literary expression. Bring your pens, pencils and ideas – the emphasis is on community, listening and connection rather than polish or performance perfection.
Word Space celebrates poetry as a communal art form. Expect encouragement, constructive feedback and the chance to hear fellow writers share their work in an intimate, creative atmosphere. Open mic slots are limited and allocated by draw, so arrive ready to put your name in the hat if you wish to perform.
Doors and open mic sign-ups from 6:00pm. Event runs 7:00-10:00pm at Jamboree, a historic venue with proper stage and generous capacity, just 2 minutes' walk from Kings Cross Station.
