Join a joyful afternoon of communal singing celebrating the winter solstice. Whether you think of yourself as a singer or not, this event welcomes everyone to belt out harmonies to well-loved songs with a live 4-piece band, two facilitators, and a guest song leader. No auditions, no rehearsals, no performance anxiety — just ecstatic, collaborative fun with around 100 others.
The party features big singalongs and beautiful harmonies, musical games, movement, and plenty of improvisation. There's no formal performance; the focus is entirely on experiencing your voice and connecting with others through the power of communal music-making. Whether you're a shower singer, karaoke enthusiast, or someone seeking a joyful way to meet people and feel part of something, you belong here.
Hosted by George Montagu (Full Joy) and Alfie Jones (Sanctuary), the event takes place at The Bath House in Hackney Wick — a warm, unpretentious community space with a café and bar. Doors open at 2pm on 6 December.
