A film screening of Ultra Women, followed by a live Q&A with director Lizzie Jenkins and two of the women featured in the film, Anna Troup and Sal Thornton.
The film follows four women - Anna, Llinos, Allie and Sal - as they take on The Spine Race, one of the world's toughest ultra marathons: 268 miles along the backbone of England, through wild and unforgiving terrain in the depths of winter. Rather than simply being about running, it asks why we choose to push ourselves beyond what seems possible, and shows how exhaustion, injury, doubt and unexpected strength shape four very different journeys.
The bar opens at 18:30 with drinks and free cake, and the film starts at 19:00.
