A monthly workshop where storytellers share early drafts of personal true stories in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you want to develop your own narrative for performance or simply enjoy hearing authentic stories from others, this session offers hands-on craft coaching and peer feedback.
The 90-minute format features up to six live storytelling examples, with facilitators and coaches offering guidance on story structure and craft. Storytellers present drafts of true stories (maximum five minutes), receiving constructive feedback from listeners and experienced coaches. Listeners can attend without performing, optionally offering their own thoughts. The workshop emphasizes building community through authentic storytelling.
This session is designed for anyone interested in personal narrative, whether you are developing material for True Story LIVE shows or simply exploring the craft of storytelling in a supportive community setting.
