Matchstick Productions presents the UK premiere of The Way Out, the studio's 34th annual ski film. This action-packed production showcases the world's finest freeriders tackling some of the planet's most demanding terrain—from Alaska's steep spine lines and Japan's legendary powder to the Swiss Alps and beyond. Rather than treating skiing purely as sport, the film celebrates it as a lifestyle and path to freedom, featuring both legendary athletes and emerging talent pushing the boundaries of what's possible on snow.
The evening kicks off at 7pm with drinks, VR heli-skiing experiences, and a chance to network with fellow skiing enthusiasts. There will be a raffle drawing for a North Face jacket, courtesy of Ellis Brigham. Professional heli-guide Fridjon Thorleifsson, who has guided in many of the film's featured locations, will participate in a Q&A session alongside the Pure Powder team. The film begins at 8pm. The event is co-hosted with Ski Club GB (the UK's largest snowsports membership organisation) and Snow Camp, a youth charity dedicated to transforming lives through skiing and snowboarding; 10% of ticket proceeds go to Snow Camp. Copies of the latest In The Snow magazine will be available to take home.
