A live music night at The Jago featuring four acts from London, spanning electronic, indie, soul jazz and rock.
5:40 fantasy is the London project of Jaden Stone, blending otherworldly electronica with abrasive industrial hip hop. Inspired by dream states, sleep disorders and the subconscious, the act will appeal to fans of Death Grips, Yeule and JPEGMafia. Yohan Vitalis plays drums.
The Beautiful Game are a five-piece indie band from north London with a fresh take on Britpop. Soaring melodies, biting guitar riffs and anthemic choruses carry songs about love, life and pints, drawing on the swagger of The Stone Roses, The Libertines, Oasis and The Jam.
Dorsia is an instrumental soul jazz group from Mile End. Their warm, groove-driven set mixes original tunes with covers of Roy Ayers and Herbie Hancock.
Refuge, fronted by Joseph.C, mix rock, metal, jazz, funk, indie and pop with raw energy. Their debut EP "Almost Nearly There!" is due out this year, and the singles "Bored" and "What If?" have already drawn positive attention.
