An engaging film screening featuring nine leading UK scientists and experts discussing urgent environmental and social challenges including extreme weather, food security, health impacts and cost-of-living concerns. The production draws from the National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster and includes contributions from well-known figures such as Chris Packham and Deborah Meaden, alongside diverse voices from across the UK.
Following the screening, a facilitated discussion explores what the film's message means for the local community and identifies practical steps residents can take in response. The event is co-hosted by St Mary's Church alongside XR Wandsworth, Christian Climate Action, Greener Jobs Alliance, Greenpeace South West London, Balham Climate Action and Transition Town Tooting.
