Architect and biomimicry pioneer Michael Pawlyn explores how organisations can transition from sustainability towards genuinely regenerative practices. Drawing on his experience designing The Eden Project and leading global sustainability initiatives, Pawlyn reveals how nature-inspired design can reshape the way we build and operate.
His work spans two influential books — Biomimicry in Architecture, the publisher's best-selling title of the past fifteen years, and Flourish: Design Paradigms for Our Planetary Emergency (co-authored with Sarah Ichioka). Pawlyn's ideas have reached millions through his acclaimed TED talk and his keynote presentations at leading organisations worldwide. In 2019, he co-founded Architects Declare a Climate and Biodiversity Emergency, a movement that has mobilised over 8,000 firms across 28 countries.
This talk offers architects, designers, planners and anyone passionate about environmental innovation an opportunity to engage with one of the sector's most influential voices on regenerative design.
