Mozart 270 | Finzi 125 - From Death to Glory celebrates two landmark composers with a concert spanning the profound depths of Mozart's work and the sublime orchestral pieces of English composer Finzi. Journey through Mozart's Requiem and his most celebrated piano concerto alongside four rarely-heard orchestral works by Finzi.
The Choirs of Robinson College Cambridge, Pembroke College Oxford, St Pancras New Church, and the St Pancras Chorus perform under the direction of Maestri Tang, Sims, and Wilson, joined by soloists and accompanied by the Orchestra of Southern Opera. A "Come & Sing" opportunity allows participants to join the choirs performing Mozart's Requiem and two church anthems with full orchestral accompaniment across Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October, culminating in the public concert on the evening of October 31st.
