Join the London Piano Meetup Group for its festive annual Christmas celebration on Friday 11th December at the 1901 Arts Club. This is an evening of piano performances in a welcoming, judgement-free environment where musicians of all levels—from beginners to advanced—can share their work with supportive peers.
The programme features three 45-minute performance slots throughout the evening. You'll choose which slot to perform in when purchasing your ticket. Each performer has up to 6 minutes, with 21 performing spots available across the whole event. The salon downstairs hosts the live performances on a beautiful Steinway C, while the bar upstairs provides a relaxed social space. You're welcome to move between both areas and enjoy the atmosphere with fellow piano enthusiasts.
Every ticket includes two complimentary drinks and canapes. A cash bar is also available to purchase additional beverages. Doors open at 6pm, though latecomers are welcome throughout the evening.
The London Piano Meetup Group welcomes solo pieces, works-in-progress, improvisations, original compositions, and piano accompaniment for other instruments. Nerves are acknowledged and normalised—mutual encouragement, not competition, defines the event. All standards welcome; new attendees particularly encouraged.
