I Hear Humming is a theatrical exploration spanning two generations and two time periods—moving between 2026 and 1971. The play follows Sadia and Rafi as they investigate the untold history of their grandparents' roles during Bangladesh's Liberation War, a story suppressed for over fifty years. Through their discovery, the production becomes a mission to bring these truths to light across Bangladesh and beyond.
Performed in English and Bangla, this witty, emotional and deeply personal work celebrates women's contributions to the Liberation War, offering audiences a pathway to deeper appreciation of their own history and heritage.
