Join a London Wildlife Trust staff member for a beginner-friendly guided walk through Walthamstow Wetlands, designed to deepen your knowledge of the bird species living in this urban oasis. Learn identification techniques and tips to improve your birdwatching skills as you explore the reserve's seasonal landscapes and soundscapes.
The walk follows reserve paths with some gentle inclines and lasts approximately 1.5 hours. A limited number of binoculars are available to borrow, though bringing your own is encouraged. While wild bird sightings cannot be guaranteed, the unpredictability is part of the authentic birding experience. All proceeds support London Wildlife Trust's work in nature recovery.
