Glug's annual Halloween special brings together brilliant creatives from across London's design, branding and digital industries to share the stories you don't hear in polished portfolios.
Expect honest confessions rather than success-story slides: tales of disasters, difficult decisions, unexpected comebacks and those pivotal moments when everything looked hopeless before it worked out. Speakers include JKR (the distinctive branding studio active since 1990), Wildish & Co (independent Clerkenwell-based creatives), and Allies Studio (Belfast-founded design studio), alongside makeup artist Victoria Poland's short talk and live character drawing by Sophie Winder.
This is Glug's core mission: a place for designers, founders, makers and generally interesting humans to meet, have real conversations and find collaborators—all dressed in fancy dress if you fancy it. The event includes Halloween décor, free pizza and drinks, and a post-event pub hangout.
