Kirtan is a participatory call-and-response musical meditation rooted in ancient tradition, now thriving as a contemporary gathering practice. No singing ability, yoga background, or religious affiliation required—just an open mind and willingness to join in. The sessions combine mantras, meditation, music and occasional movement, creating an immersive group experience designed to be welcoming for both first-timers and experienced practitioners.
Sessions run every Friday evening at OmNom Studio. The practice emphasises devotion and shared connection rather than spotlight performers, though occasionally guest musicians may participate depending on their availability and wellbeing.
