An opening night for WATER, the first group exhibition staged with Theatreship and presented as part of Ode to Them's second birthday celebrations. Ode to Them is a neurodivergent-led creative platform that backs emerging artists, writers and makers through exhibitions, open calls and collaborative projects.
WATER brings together 20 emerging artists working across a range of mediums. The show treats water as a unifying theme in its many forms, looking at its links to memory, identity and emotion, and at its capacity to connect, transform and inspire.
The evening is a mix of art, conversation and community, with a chance to meet fellow creatives, discover new work and celebrate two years of ODE. Before the exhibition, a series of films by divergent filmmakers will be screened. "Refraction" is curated by ODE and Theatreship following an open call.
