This powerful documentary explores chemsex through personal testimonies and lived experience, examining the complexities of the practice, recognising when support may be needed, and the work of those helping others navigate these challenges. Directors Jordi Estapé Montserra and John Reavey centre real voices and emotional realities, weaving together personal stories, activism and pathways to recovery with care and nuance.
Both screenings are followed by a guided discussion addressing themes including support, recovery, stigma and different routes to seeking help. The event challenges stigma, raises awareness of available resources, and promotes open conversation about chemsex and reaching out for help.
A charitable initiative: all ticket proceeds benefit Controlling Chemsex and London Friend, funding their community support work.
