Anne Serre, whose novel A Leopard-Skin Hat was shortlisted for the Booker Prize, presents her latest work Virtue and Rosalind (translated by Mark Hutchinson). This is an intricate novel exploring art, literature, and the dynamics between women, characterised by what critic Merve Emre describes as the 'rippling unreality' of Serre's distinctive prose style.
Serre will be in conversation with writer and critic Alice Blackhurst, offering an intimate discussion of the novel's themes and her creative process. The evening takes place at London Review Bookshop.
