Join the Architects Climate Action Network (ACAN) and architecture firm RSHP for a screening of The People's Emergency Briefing, a film documenting a November 2025 briefing at Westminster Central Hall where leading UK climate and nature scientists presented the latest evidence on the climate and ecological crisis to over 1,000 politicians, business leaders and decision-makers. Hosted by Chris Packham, the film explores what these crises mean for health, food security, national security and the economy, while highlighting positive responses already underway.
The built environment accounts for 42% of UK national emissions, making it central to addressing this challenge. After the screening, there will be a facilitated discussion about what these findings mean for the architecture profession and the construction industry, plus an opportunity to connect with others working on climate action in the built environment sector.
Everyone is welcome — whether you are already involved with ACAN or simply interested in learning more. ACAN is a network of architects and built environment professionals working towards rapid decarbonisation, ecological regeneration and cultural transformation of the industry. Free concession tickets are available for unwaged participants.
