The Royal Foundation of St. Katharine welcomes visitors in 2026 to spend a day of quiet reflection and personal space in their urban sanctuary. Whether you come for a few hours or the full day, you'll have access to peaceful surroundings, optional chapel services, and the chance to meet with a trained listener by appointment.
Most guests join the welcome "thought for the day" at 10.30am on Mondays. The day runs from 8am to 5.30pm, though you may attend for as much or as little time as suits your schedule. The venue provides a subsidised rate that includes morning coffee and pastries, lunch, and afternoon tea with cake. Additional facilities include the chapel, gardens, lounge and library for personal reflection.
For a fuller retreat experience, the StaySunday option allows you to arrive Sunday afternoon and stay overnight in an en-suite single bedroom, returning for Monday's reflective day. Accommodation is bed and breakfast; a StaySunday PLUS option extends your Monday departure until 1pm. The Yurt café is available if you wish to purchase food on Sunday. Places are limited, so advance booking is recommended. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before arrival to avoid a full cancellation fee.
