Two 18-year-old boys were stabbed in Plaistow last night in an attack that brought police, ambulances and an air ambulance trauma team to a residential street in Newham. Officers were called to an address on Pelly Road at around 7:50pm on October 28.
The London Ambulance Service treated one of the victims on Dimsdale Walk, a residential street less than five minutes’ walk from where the incident was reported. Both teenagers were taken to a major trauma centre with stab wounds that police describe as non-life-changing. Videos from the scene showed several police cars and ambulances behind a cordon within a cul-de-sac off Clegg Street, with a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance also in attendance.
The Metropolitan Police said no arrests have been made so far. Enquiries into what led to the stabbing are ongoing, and officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
