Saxophonists Tony Kofi and Hans Koller pay tribute to the pioneering work of Steve Lacy, the visionary soprano saxophonist and composer who redefined the soprano saxophone's role in modern jazz from the 1950s onwards. Lacy's distinctive tone and fearless exploration of free jazz and composition made him a defining figure in avant-garde music.
This celebration brings together two accomplished jazz musicians to interpret Lacy's influential catalogue and legacy at London's acclaimed jazz venue.
