A women-only creative evening celebrating Somali culture through painting, music, and community. Arrive in your favourite Somali cultural attire (dirac, baati, guntiino or other traditional dress) and immerse yourself in an off-socials gathering designed for genuine connection without recording or social media pressure.
The evening features live entertainment including a female DJ playing Somali, R&B and Afrobeats, a performance from Nimco Dareen, live buraanbur, karaoke, and a vibrant atmosphere kept energetic by a dedicated host. All painting supplies are provided, with canvas, brushes and acrylic paints included.
Food and drink feature authentic Somali cuisine, Somali tea, matcha, mini pancakes and desserts. Additional experiences include a photobooth, live perfume bar, and prizes worth up to £100. Doors open at 6pm with painting commencing at 6:30pm — arrive promptly as doors close once the event begins.
Wheelchair accessible ground-floor venue with free street parking available. For questions, contact the organisers via Instagram @rnseventsmanagement or email [email protected]. Ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
