The Nest Collective presents an evening of live music by the fireside, bringing together Bristol-based New-Folk ensemble Tarren and London psychedelic world-music duo Ghuraba, among others. This outdoor gathering celebrates the tradition of communal music-making while inviting reflection on the significance of political dissent and community-building on Bonfire Night.
Tarren combines cittern, concertina, fiddle and accordion to craft their distinctive New-Folk sound. Ghuraba blends global influences with psychedelic textures through electric guitar and traditional percussion. The evening balances live performance with food, drink and conversation in an urban waterside setting, creating space to step back from everyday rush and connect with others through shared music and tradition.
