Off Script and Green Rider team up for an intimate conversation exploring filmmaking, sustainability and environmental storytelling. Two speakers—writer/director Jack Cooper Stimpson and BAFTA-nominated producer Bennett McGhee—discuss their collaborative approach to developing independent features, the practicalities of sustainable production, and how climate activism shapes the stories being told.
Jack Cooper Stimpson is an award-winning director and environmental campaigner whose work includes the feature Goodbye, Hello, the ecological film Spirit of Place (which qualified for the BAFTAs and Academy Awards), and More Flames for Adam McKay's Yellow Dot Studios. Bennett McGhee produced the Berlin Film Festival award-winning Mogul Mowgli and has worked on acclaimed films including multi-Oscar-nominated Brooklyn and An Education.
This candid, informal event offers insight into the behind-the-scenes realities of independent film production and the growing intersection of creative ambition with environmental responsibility.
